The tremendous diversity of the German mechanical engineering industry, which is renowned all over the world, requires the ability to think precisely about the functioning of the machines. Since many of our translators are also engineers, we've discovered inaccuracies in the translation templates on many occasions and have helped to improve the source text.

Our translation customers in the mechanical engineering industry

We supply technical translations to manufacturers of machines and equipment for the lumber industry, food industry, logistics, glass industry, fleece-, paper- and foil-processing, environmental technology, biogas plants and agricultural technology – to name just a few.

What do we translate?

We translate all specialists texts on the topic of mechanical engineering, such as

  • Handbooks
  • Instruction manuals
  • User interfaces
  • Trade materials
  • Flyers and brochures
  • Websites
  • Press releases
  • Operating and maintenance manuals

How do we translate?

We create a Translation Memory with a terminology database for each client. This ensures that the technical vocabulary of different competitors can't be intermingled. A Translation Memory recognizes segments that the translator has already translated. This means that the same thing is always translated the same way, not just within a document, but also during updates. This is particularly advantageous in instruction-, operating- and maintenance-manuals, which are interspersed with recurring safety instructions. In addition, text repetitions are calculated at a much lower cost.

If you send us your documents in the usual MS Office formats or as an InDesign file, you'll receive your translation in the correct layout right away. A small tip: When creating the source document, allow a little more space for certain translations. Romance languages – such as French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese as well as Russian almost always run longer than German.

Our quality assurance system is certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015. This creates transparency in your supply chain. We're also certified according to the ISO 17100 standard for translation service providers. Here, too, the high quality standard is checked in annual audits.
